The 'Identity Projects' are a series of workshops including trips for 18 – 25 year-old men aimed at exploring what it means to be young, male, Muslim or Sikh and living in Scotland. You’ll use things like photography, film, sound, the internet and a range of other creative ideas to explore your identity. You'll also meet people who affect your identity, for example journalists and the police.

You will also get the chance to meet and talk with MSP's at Parliament as well as City Councillors and City Council Officials to share your views and discuss your needs.

At the end, you’ll have contribute to a public exhibition of the materials that have been created during the workshops. There will also be a colour booklet created as part of the project and you'll have been a significant contributor and also attend its launch event. This booklet is to help other people understand a whole lot more about what life is like for YOU.

You don’t need any previous experience. We’ve got all the equipment and know-how with a friendly Workshop Leader to help you out. And it’s all FREE!
