| NOW CANCELLED Kagyu Samye Dzong Edinburgh and the Edinburgh Inter-Faith Association regret to inform you that His Holiness the 17th Karmapa has not been granted a visa by the Indian Government for travel and has sadly been left with no alternative but to cancel his tour to Europe for the present time. The present Karmapa is 17th in his line and widely considered to be next in importance to His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Although still a young man of twenty five, he demonstrates timeless wisdom and compassion.
