NATIONAL INTER-FAITH YOUTH CONFERENCE

The Edinburgh Inter-Faith Association and the Scottish Inter-Faith Council are jointly hosting the SIFC's annual Youth Inter-Faith Conference. The conference is aimed at young adults between the ages of 18 and 30. The conference is FREE OF CHARGE and will begin at 2pm in the hall of St John's Church, Edinburgh (corner of Princes Street and Lothian Road) ending around 6:30pm with a vegetarian supper.

CONFERENCE ON 'POSITIVE EDUCATION' - November 2005

In November 2005 the Edinburgh Inter-Faith Association organised a conference on 'Positive Education'. Over 250 delegates met for two days in Edinburgh at the University of Edinburgh's Pollock Halls.

The conference was a great success with significant feedback from the delegates who were mainly educators. Keynote speakers included His Holiness The Dalai Lama, Prof Bart McGettrick, Sister Jayanti BK, Neil Hawks and Norman Drummond.
