Brunton Theatre, Musselburgh
Arun Manilal Gandhi is the fifth grandson of Mohandas Gandhi. Following the footsteps of his grandfather, he is also a socio-political activist sharing lessons about violence and anger around the world. His Grandfather taught Arun to understand non-violence through understanding violence. “If we know how much passive violence we perpetrate against one another we will understand why there is so much physical violence plaguing societies and the world,” Gandhi said. Through daily lessons, Arun says, he learned about violence and about anger. Arun shares these lessons all around the world. Chaired by Rev Prof Frank Whaling.

We would also like to invite individuals and other groups from within the wider Edinburgh community to be our guests and receive a meal as a gift and as an act of service and hospitality.
