Edinburgh Women’s Interfaith Group
Our Vision
The Edinburgh Women's Inter-Faith Group is a safe, organic, open and informal group, welcoming women of all faiths and none.
What do we do?
We begin with a shared vegetarian meal
Then we have a contribution from a speaker - either one of our members, or a visitor my invitation
Topics have included rituals of practice of different faith groups; violence against women/trafficking; environmental concerns; listening to personal stories about Palestine/Israel; artistic project work (eg Faith Book); storytelling; Peace Circles
Where do we meet?
The group meets between 7 and 9pm usually on the third Wednesday of the month in the cafe of Nicolson Square Methodist Church, or at one of the other faith community buildings on a date most suitable for that community
